| but basically it comes down to this... - Cut off the old antenna if stuck in the up position. Very easy to cut - try to get as close to the car body as you can w/out scratching anything. - Remove the exterior retainer nut at the bottom of the mast (on outside of car). Look for the slot and use a screwdriver (+ mallet) to gently push it counterclockwise. Helps if it's sprayed a little with some lubricant. Just be careful not to let the screwdriver blade slip and scratch the car. - From inside of the car - remove the nut that holds the exterior antenna body trim piece in place (the round part where the bottom of the mast comes out of the car). As I recall it was easier if that trim part was removed. - Undo the nuts/bolts holding the assembly inside the car and unplug the wiring harness. Tip/tilt the assembly and remove it. Fairly easy overall....
